Ouch, that harsh Nitz.. I've gotten waivers before, but you gotta have a good reason to justify it... they dont want ppl coming into the class without the pre-reqs and thendoing poorly. But its definitely worth a shot
I will be looking to get a waiver for Kins 325 -Human Anantomy. I am not a kins major, and I would have to take like 3-4 classes just to take that class.
Why wouldn't you just take KIN 105? If you just want a class on human anatomy, I think that would be more than alright, but the 325 one probably goes a bit more in-depth.
@jeff I don't think you'll get the waiver in that case. If it's the type of class that is a build up or culmination of previous classes, they will be strict about it.
There are some classes (like canadian studies) that have weaker pre-reqs so those types you can talk the prof into waiving them. Why are you even taking that specific class if you don't have the pre-reqs.. you must not be in the kin program? what gives
I need the course for graduate school. Its really stupid though, Human Anatomy should be in the BIO department, i.e. BIO 325, but its not. After all, it is biology. Argh.

I asked a prof a week ago.
He basically outright insulted my by saying I was a nut job for even asking him. And how I had the guts to come to him and dare to ask for one LOL...
So if the prof is an assole.. don't ask. The prof will just put you down and make you seem like your stupid or not good enough.
So as harsh as it was.. I know why he did it and really to toughen me up.
