Business

edited September 2010 in General
Hi there, I am now in my 3rd semester at sfu. I will have almost completed my wqb requirement by the end of this fall semester. My problem is getting into business. Since I got C+/B-/B for most of classes, I want to know how high my chance will be to get into business? Do any of you know the previous record of gpa of students transfering into business?

Put in the marks and units for all of the business classes you've taken so far in there. The admission cut-off for a transfer into business this term (Fall 2010) was 3.15 (right in between a B and B+ average), though it can be slightly lower or slightly higher depending on the term. Fall term generally has the highest admission requirement, while summer has the lowest.

That's where I got the info about the GPA req, they update that number every term.

No problem! Also, if you need to do retakes, be warned that starting with applications for transfers in the Fall 2011 term, only two retakes will be allowed maximum. Up until summer 2011 though you can do as many as you like, though you can only do a total of 5 retakes throughout your entire SFU career.
  • Desolate u sound soooooo experienced! Thanx a lot
  • No worries! :P

I have been fairly back and forth about what I wanted to do until I decided on Business in the Summer term, so I have a pretty well-rounded knowledge of most areas of SFU from all the research I did to help me decide what`s right for me.
