Late textbook purchase?

edited September 2010 in General
I ordered my textbooks from amazon but one of them was "lost in transit." I got a full refund but I checked the book again and the same seller had the same amount in stock, but at a higher price. Anyway, they made me wait a month before telling me and now it's too late to order online. Where should I go to buy this textbook? Is the sfu bookstore a good choice?

Since the SFU bookstore is usually the most expensive option, only use it as a last resort. Check Craigslist to see if anyone is selling the textbooks you need.

there's also a textbook "marketplace" (i think that's what it's called) on facebook.. and of course talksfu's very own bookstore.. =p

it would probably help if you posted the name of the textbook or the course you're taking here.. you might get lucky.. =)
