Anyone do Circuit Training at SFU Rec before?

edited December 2009 in General
I'm thinking about signing up...but I wanted to hear a lil about it from someone first....how did you find it? Fun? Worth paying for? What kinda machines were used? What was the makeup of the class? Mostly students?

This class incorporates short intervals of training on machines, interspersed with simple cardio activities such as step ups and high knees. This low impact class is appropriate for all levels and ensures a well-rounded total body workout.

I've never done it at specifically at SFU but I do my circuit training at Fitness World and it's a good way of evenly toning out your whole body. I'd say go for it!

Is it difficult kinky? I do about 30 minutes of cardio just on a stationary bike every day, but that's the extent of my exercise. I'm also a wimp.

30 minutes of cardio on anything stationary is torturous.

Circuit training is a structured workout regime, no need for a "class" on this, find a circuit training script and exercise to it.

Not at all. You can adjust the amount of weights you want on each machine/station to your preference. Each station is consisted of 30-second intervals with 30-seconds of stairs inbetween. Definitely a no-brainer. Give it a try!

Oh..sorry bubbles, I didn't mean to say it's a "class" class...more of a lead circuit training program. You know, like group aerobics haha. I just thought it'd be fun and a way to get me to the gym regularly! :)

I think i will do it! Thanks!
