    i took it with a sessional proff named aronson. it was a great class. dunno about ferguson though,

    aronson doesnt teach at sfu anymore. he was a great proff but got cut off because he was a noobie in the history department.

    Don't know if you're a history major or not. Ferguson is a demanding prof no doubt about it. But if you are a history major and you want to learn how to do well in upper-level courses, then Ferguson will help you get there. If you're looking to coast and get an easy B+ or A-, then you better pass on it.

    In terms of educational value, I think that Hist 212 and 213 combined are the most eye-opening courses I've ever taken. People often say Americans know nothing about Canada, you'll be shocked how little we know about Americans, and these courses will prove that.

    I'm gonna take that course next semester, seems kinda interesting.
