edited December 2009 in General
Anyone that has taken the course care to confirm whether the final is hard or not? I'm uber stressing over it.

Asked about it in the shoutbox but it got lost in the dramz. >_>

Pretty easy, but honestly the only part I remember on the exam was writing about Lavoisier and the pictures. Read the book and if you have good notes you should be set.
If theres any review, study that shit like the bible cuz its going to be o the t test.

I read the entire text and highlighted important deets, and I took good lecture notes... the only thing that has me worried is Ede was talking about memorizing dates, which isn't exactly easy since it covers a period of over 5000 years. lol

how was it? It shouldn't have been to hard, I cam out with a b+ and I didn't even do any of the readings. I read through the important parts of the text and my notes, thats about it.

Do you remember what type of stuff we need to know for the essay/short essays? I don't know how the fuck I'm going to write a four page essay and 2 two page essays about this shit. :\

*made a timeline of all the people and it's a 16 page long Word document*

try concentrating on all the essay topics from the rest of the semester, and just go over parts he emphasized. Thats pretty much all I can tell you regarding essays. I can't remember what my topics were but if I do ill post it.

Regarding the pictures, there might be something on space elevators. lavoisiers lab, and something about about socrates, or whoever it was that was executed for something or another, something about wine?. Haha.

It was Lavoisier that was executed. There could have been more but I don't remember any but Lavoisier off the top of my head.

And wtf. I thought the Space Elevator thing was just a tangent he went on so I didn't make note of any of that. Guess I'll have to google it or see if the text has anything.

    Thanks though :)

Honestly the hardest test I've ever written.

Identifications were easy, I wrote about Silent Spring, Fritz Haber, Einstein, the Space Elevator and the Heliocentric Model.

Essay questions were crap. I chose one about Aristotle's system, but the rest were just stupid/hard/etc.

Long essays I thought were really hard myself too. The one I chose you had to argue there was no Scientific Revolution, which I found hard because I had argued there was one in my second essay.

I fully expect to have bombed it though.
