Dentists teeth and so on
How are your teeth? How often do you go to the dentist? Do you floss? How many fillings do you have? Can you recommend a good dentist?
Well, I don't eat that much candy, I only drink about half a can of soda per day, and I brush my teeth every night and usually every morning and I floss every other day or so. All in all I think I take pretty good care of my teeth, but they're still rotting. It probably has something to do with the fact that I hated drinking milk as a kid, my parents told me brushing was important but never mentioned flossing, I sometimes went days without brushing my teeth when I was little, and from age 7-16 I drank a lot of soda, every day.
I guess you can't make up for past mistakes with teeth - once they're f*$7cked, they're f*&*$75cked forever.
The last dentist I went to made things worse by not using a dental dam (I didn't even know what those were back then so I didn't realize) thus contaminating the fillings with water and blood which made half my fillings FAIL.
My current dentist replaced most of my fillings and gave me a couple new ones with orders to take insanely good care of my mouth or else get a whole jawful of root canals.
It's very depressing. I hate dentists, I hate teeth, the whole thing. I would like to hear other people's experiences!

I extend my sympathy for your other dentist's lack of proper procedure. Once your fillings are fixed they should be OK though. :)
One thing that can help is if you look for a fluoridated toothpaste. And use that stuff really regularly. Like, every morning and evening.
I used to drink a lot of pop, but don't very often anymore... but I brush twice a day, rarely floss. Maybe once every 3 weeks?
I've had one cavity that I've had to get a filling for, but nothing other than that.
Either way I think it's all a big conspiracy and we should just be able to regrow new tooth. Dentists are clearly holding back on scientific progress in order to stay in business!
that said.. they were pretty shocked when i told them i've never had braces.. and would always tell me i need to take good care of them because they say i have beautiful teeth.. the only semi-cavity is a result of genetics.. where my tooth didn't develop properly.. but my dentist assured me it's not a big deal and i don't have to worry..
i have no fillings.. i brush twice daily.. and floss every other day or when i feel i need to floss.. i hardly drink pop.. maybe a occasional bottle if i'm craving something sweet.. i drink coffee on a daily basis though but try to limit to one cup per day.. oh.. and i love chocolate..=P
I'm 20 and still waiting to see if they come through but if my parents are anything to go by I'll probably have to get them removed.
in truth.. i'm not buying into what he says.. it's not like they're bothering me..
