the difference between swine flu and the common cold
http://www.turnto23.com/news/19337804/detail.html
i don't know any of you experienced the swine flu scare yet.. but being subjected to prolonged fatigue for the last 2 weeks my body finally gave way on wednesday.. i started displaying flu-like symptoms and was worried i have been "swined" :omg:
thank goodness it wasn't..and after sleeping like pig for the past 2 days my symptoms are gone..
but yeah.. purely FYI purpose.. there's a comparison table inside that i thought would be useful for everyone
take care and good luck on midterms!

I'm not concerned about what would happen if I got the flu, but for the sake of everyone else I would come in contact with to further spread it....I think I'll be getting the shot. I mean, the purpose is to stop to spread of the virus I suppose, so it makes sense for me!

(that being said, i doubt i'm getting the shot anyway)
and good to hear you're better edison..=)
I'm taking tamiflu, though.

I took antibiotics and other pills (like 7 other pills cause in HK/Asia they love giving you an assortment of pills) which did almost nothing but just helped me lower my fever for a few hours (it was at 100C constantly)...
so after a week, i retook a stronger antibiotics, and started to feel better. But man, it was the worst week i've experienced !
The swine flu, being a virus, would be unaffected. So either you didn't have H1N1, or the antibiotics "working" was just a coincidence.
Also, considering that Macau only has about 450 probable cases of swine flu at the moment out of a population of 500 000, the odds of you picking it up there aren't that high - at least not too much higher than in Vancouver.
