Skipping a Midterm

edited October 2009 in General
Hi,
I have been sick and have a huge headache. I have midterm coming up on Friday and I can't concentrate on studying.
I don't want to but I think I should skip this midterm because I'll fail it otherwise.
I have never skipped an exam so don't know what the procedure is. Should I go to the doctor on Friday and get a note or go tomorrow? what should i tell the doctor? And what if I get better by Friday? I still want to skip it because can't study!
help!

You realize you still fail the midterm if you skip it right?

If you don't care, the procedure follows as listed:

    Step 1: Skip midterm

    That's about it.

Apparently most profs have eased up on policy to prevent the "spread" of h1n1. You can most likely get away with it if you get a note. No evidence= 0

need to notify the proff ahead of time today is probably a good idea and then provide a doctors note asap. or else you fail.

yeah like lazy said.. i would probably pull the h1n1 excuse.. you have a 7 day time slot and only after then would you need a doctor's note..
