Taste of Yaletown 2009
Hey guys! It's that time of year again, Taste of Yaletown is back!
List of restaurants and menus have been posted online:
http://www.yaletowninfo.com/events/toy.aspx
Reserve your seats now!
Anyone going? I booked Glowbal for my birthday and I'll probably end up going to George since I've been dying to try it for some time now and maybe Provence Marinaside but other than that, the menus don't sound super appealing.

I have a few reservations with my bf, best friend, and work friends...hoping to get the most out of this year!
I have:
Glowbal
Elixir
Section (3)
Brix
Hamilton Street Grill
I might drop one or two, but at $35.00 for a three course menu....it's hard to say no!
Nicole, tell me how Elixir is! I've heard so many good things about it.
Off to the new Coast tonight (without Taste of Yaletown). Yay!
We had a great evening. The food was fantastic (we were comparing the restaurant to Blu Water Cafe...so the food was on par with there) HOWEVER, there were just little random things that would have totally ruined the experience had this been a business meeting or first date or something. We got there early so went to the lounge, or lackthereof as there was a private party and most couches reserved. THEN the VPD walked in, stayed for about 15 minutes while walking around, and eventually took someone out who was clearly a friend/bf of a server. Professional much?
THEN a couple near us was just full of PDA. As in she got up three times, sat on his lap and started making out. Really?
P.S Anyone else doing Taste of Yaletown??
Once I ordered a chef's special which was a huge-ass angus burger with lobster poutine on the side. The burger is a little messy to eat by hand so I had to use a fork and a knife but for a sea-food resto, that was probably one of the best burgers I had.
But the food...great!
You should also try the Italian Kitchen across the street. It's under Glowbal's Management too!
online predator -- It did seem classy, but I think the Cops in the restaurant ruined that ambiance!
I love Taste of Yaletown!
Totally canceled my reso at Glowbal on Sunday because my sister was tired. Next time!
