I'm stoked. Denis Kang will be on the card for sure. If Kalib Starnes didn't have that performace in Montreal, he would've been on this card.

UFC 102 was dope by the way. Minatauro's back and Nate and Silva had huge knockouts.

I'm sure GSP will be on the card. Maybe by then he might move up to Middleweight.

That article just ticks me off. People who believe UFC is like dog fighting are fukin morons. The fighters make their own choice on whether to fight and are paid well and gain notoriety. Wow I hope they blow this, not only will it satisfy the fans but it brings millions of dollars into the local economy.

By the way I like GSP but his fights these day are boring. All he does is wrestle now, few years back he was a crazy striker.

“It’s an interesting situation because I think, pound-for-pound, the UFC is more popular in Canada than any other country — including the USA.,” he said. “I mean, it’s amazing.” - Co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta

I'm all for the UFC coming to Vancouver, and I know it would be a sold out show at GM Place...that's why Dana White & co. are hustling so hard to make it happen. As of right now, Quebec is the only province in Canada that hasn't outlawed MMA so before a Vancouver show happens, they have to get through all the legal hurdles. So technically it's not confirmed yet, but they are making progress. I'm not holding my breath yet because you know how politicians are.

There's a perfect article about all of this that I posted on my blog a couple of months ago: http://www.simonrai.com/?p=180
