Just a random question

edited August 2009 in General
I am new transfer student to SFU and not familiar with the tri-semester system. I prefer a typical fall&spring academic year. So if I wanna skip the summer term, do I need to claim deferral or just do not enroll any classes?

If you prefer a typical fall & spring academic year, you're in the wrong school.

He can take more courses in Fall and Spring to balance it out.

But anyways, they send you a U-Pass in the mail regardless and that's like 100 for the semester. May need to talk to the registrar so they don't charge you for all that extra crap like the Student Services shit.

you just don't enroll in the summer term, you don't need to reapply for the fall after that either. i think you can take two consecutive semesters off before you have to reapply.

i always take the summers off and i've never been sent a upass in the summer.
