Should I take BISC 100 OR BISC 101?

edited August 2009 in General
I am a non-Sci student and have practically no background in BIO (Bio 10 max). I regained interest in it when I took PSYC 100 and did perfectly. Which of 100 and 101 should I go for, or should I take something else? I heard that pre-college courses like Pre-calculus were relatively tough. Is that true in Bio courses?

I've taken Biology 101 and it requires background knowledge in biology (BIO 12) and would be really tough without it. I suggest you take Biology 100 before you take 101.

if you have never taken any bio courses before (bio11/12) then i would tell you to prepare for alot of memorization. Bio courses, especially first year ones, have a lot of stuff they cover since it is a general biology course so there is alot of memorization required.

If you just want the Science credit, and want it to be an easy BSci course, I suggest taking Kines coures (142/110/143).

    Cheers

Thanks a lot! Any comments on CHEM 192 Chemistry in life? Is that easy? Cuz I still need two Sci courses and haven't registered one, and spaces are filling up..

Pre-reqs for BISC 101: Biology 12 or BISC 100. So you don't really have a choice there.

You don't need to do all your science credits right away.

CHEM192 is easy as pie (as long as you have like chem10 or something)
