Iphone App development

edited July 2009 in General
I'm looking for someone in SFU to do something for me. Do you, or do you know anyone who can program iphone apps? I have an idea, but I'm too busy to create it. Best part is, it's really really simple (compared to most apps that is!). If you're interested, please send me a private message! This will be a paid job as well :D

Thanks!

does that include the 100$ to apple? and does apple still need to approve apps before they go on app store?

I think focusing time an energy on an iPhone app which may or may not make it into the iTunes store is a waste of time. I've heard lots of bad stories of developers who have been left hanging by Apple after investing lots of time and money into making an app. Not only that, but why restrict yourself to one mobile platform which may not even be popular in a year or two (change is inevitable).

I've been focusing more on "web app" development. Meaning you design a website that takes advantage of the mobile browser interface and provides a good experience for the user....without having to download an "app." There are more reasons why web apps are better than native apps but I won't get into that here.

But I will say that the CTR on web apps is a lot higher than on traditional browsers, so the financial incentive is there, without having to rely on Apple (which takes a cut from each app that is sold on iTunes)
