    CRIM 103 is relatively easy
CRIM 135 isn't that hard, but you'll have to get a hang of what is expected of you, law classes are irritatingly about how you word things.
I took five classes one semester and those were both in that semester.

You can. Just try not to take Bowbrick (CRim 135) and Boyanowsky (Crim 103). Both teachers that are messed up.

Bowbrick was an amazing teacher but his marking scheme was so random.

Boyanowsky was somewhat of an interesting class but just an overall terrible teacher.

i took both courses via DE 135 with Boyd and 103 with Glackman.. it's not hard.. but as randomuser said.. just be mindful how you word things.. =)

I agree with what siuying and whowhatwhere said, don't take them with bowbrick and boyanowsky, also don't take 104 with fabian.

I dunno, Bowbrick's classes didn't seem so difficult to me. I got an A in 135 and an A+ in his 231 class. Bowbrick's 135 and 231 has no paper, no presentations, and no textbook, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. I would recommend him to anyone.

I never said he was difficult, I got an A- but I felt I deserved higher. I found his marking scheme was so random and when I went to talk to him about it he found such stupid reasons to not give me the marks I felt I got.

Marking scheme aside, his class is well worth it. I learned a ton and his teaching style is very good.

whats wrong with fabian's 104 class? she was alright... I had a semi-difficult time in her class because she was kind of dull, and my only other crim profs were cartwright at the time, but all in all her class wasn't too bad

Oh ok. The direction of the topic seemed to suggest avoiding Bowbrick like the plague, and I think it would be unfortunate for new users thinking about 135 to leave with such an impression.

its not unfortunate at all, there are easier teachers for both of the classes

its not impossible with bowbrick or boyan or fabian, but there are easier teachers in the faculty

and i had a paper and a textbook with bowbrick, but that was a few years ago

    Amen to that.

Bowbrick is a great lecturer but I agree that his mark breakdown was wonky. I got a really low mark for that class when I know I could have down way better.

    hi,

    thanks a lot,

that does really help, but for now i m still not clear who is gonna teach CRIM135 next semester.

it sounds like almost everyone here said that taking 103 with Boyanowsky is a such bad idea. so i am thinking about Gail Anderson, maybe she is easier for a newer.

gail anderson is known as the bug lady in criminology.. you definitely should take a class with her to make your degree worthwhile.. although i would suggest the forensic courses over 103..
