I am purely an arts student. What B-sci courses you guys recommend? BISC 100? COGS 100? PHYS 190? or something else?

the kin courses are pretty easy for b-sci credits. i took kin 140 and kin 142. kin 142 has a lot of memorization, but at least the class is interesting, my kin 140 class was with penny deck and all you had to read were her lecture notes.

I'm taking HIST 110 for one B-Sci credit.

It's Introduction to the History of Science.

I'm taking mine with Penny Deck @ harbour in the fall, but apparently from her RMP notes, it says she is difficult?

So the class itself is pretty easy, just simply memorize her notes?

    Midterm, paper, final?

yea..i took cogs 100 too with Dr Mark Blair. all u need is to attend all the lectures and study the notes....oh, but it has an essay due almost every week.

this course has no midterm exam because its assignment worth 50% of the final grade.

Well I took kin 140 in fall 08 with penny deck. We had 2 midterms, 3 assignments and a final. midterms were worth 15%, assignments 10% and the final was worth 40%. The assignments are very straight forward with one of them being a group project. Midterms and final are based on her lecture notes. I did not touch the textbook ONCE. Unless she changed the textbook requirement, I don't see why you would need to purchase one.

Good to note, all in all, GPA booster with a little bit of effort?
