English or history?

edited July 2009 in General
I'm looking for a minor field that could boost my CGPA. What are the overall grades students usually get in English and history courses?

Anyone here who are originally from Singapore or who have studied there?
I would recommend against an English minor.

I heard that a lot of ppl could neither do very well (like above A-) nor do very badly in ENGL courses. Is that true?

Well, if you have no interest in the stuff, you're obviously going to do badly.

English is easier than History, in my opinion.

But if you aren't oriented that way, then don't, because they won't help your GPA that much.

I was just joking. I've never taken an English class or a History class.

    However..

^ I've found this to be true for most of the arts courses I've taken. It's pretty tough to fail an arts class, but getting an A+ is rare.

Science courses are usually more spread out. A bunch of people fail hard. A few do really well (like.. 90-100%), and most fall somewhere in between.
