WEBCT Sucks

edited November 2006 in General
Is it just me, or is this one of the most frustrating and slow peice of crapware in the world? Considering SFU has such a big budget I think they should at least invest in a more efficient program to manage our classwork with. What kind of experiences have you had with it?

i have two classes i use WebCT for, but it's only to check grades and the discussion boards. i haven't had much problems with doing those tasks...
yeah i dont know it seems as though both UBC and SFU use WebCT, i don't know if there is some other alternative to it?

personally i never had an issue with webct, mostly use it for help in the discussion forums and checking grades/assignments

    $2000 times 15000 students = Cha Ching$ X 3 semesters = $$$$$$$$$$$$

But back to webct... I don't really use it much but I do think there is a lot of room for improvement. ive never really liked java due to its slow load time
