Hi Orphanboy (hope you like being called that :P )

We actually started out with no sigs OR avatars because we're tryin to keep the site as streamlined and efficient as possible. But, since some members requested being able to put pics in their signatures, we decided to try it out for a while. We might actually switch to avatars later on, but I doubt we will have both I think you'd have to ask Raize about that. Thanks for the question... anyone have opinions about this?
