Steven Page leaves the Barenaked Ladies
http://www.blogto.com/music/2009/02/steven_page_leaves_barenaked_ladies/
This is a week old or so, but I'm still quite torn up about it. Don't know if there are any current/past BNL fans on TalkSFU, but growing up, they were my favorite band. I haven't been too keen on their new stuff (Everything to Everyone and Barenaked Ladies are Me), but I still love listening to their first 3-4 albums. The worst part is, after revisiting my favorite BNL songs, I discovered that they're all sung by Steven Page. Not only that, I'll never get to see them live.
Anyhow, to commemorate Page and the rest of the band, here are a few choice favorites:
Break Your Heart
A
Alcohol
Bank Job
Call and Answer
Jane
Life, In a Nutshell
Maybe Katie
The Wrong Man Was Convicted
Tonight is the Night I Fell Asleep At the Wheel
