    I was doing it with QuickTax online, that's why I know my money was taken away. When I include T220A, my refund total was $180. When I take out T220A, my refund total became $971.

    I am not qualified to use the free version of Quicktax because I make more than $25,000 a year.

    That doesn't sound right to me...tuition is a tax credit, it should not be increasing the amount you owe or lowering your refund.

    What are your amounts you're claiming for school? Are you entering the textbook / supplies credit as well?

    I remembered we have a family friend out in farm-town (aka Langley) so I drove out to his place on Sunday and got them done.

    I am getting two grand back.

    My brother has been using StudioTax for awhile now--completely free and apparently works great.
