i was looking at the catalogue and this summer in particular looks not that appealing, i think ill have the classes i need to graduate though
well that's comforting to know.. atleast you're able to graduate before the budget cut takes effect...=) although finding a job might be a tid bit more difficult during this time but hey you're working for SFU anyway and they pay you goooddd.... X) so i suppose things work out for you.. atleast you've managed to get get across the river when some of us are still waddling in the middle of it.. suddenly the river seems to have gotten so much wider..  :cry:
Just a reminder that you have to pay your $100 Deposit before you can register. And no, they will no longer accept credit card payment because they are broke...

I'm currently enrolled right now, I'm taking 3 courses.
That is odd, you should have received your enrollment date in the email today. You probably want to give them a call tomorrow.
You are in Criminology right? Isn't Crim 320: Quantitative Research methods in Criminology a required courses?
In some other programs, one of the W you take has to be a upper level course, normally within your program. However, the two Q credits can be either lower or upper level.
Ok Primexx, I am pretty sure you are very familiarize with the WQB thing, however I am kind of annoyed that some of the new people coming into SFU are oblivious to the WQB requirement. I was in the MBC today doing some paperwork and I saw a group of high school kids touring the campus. I almost want to shout out, "Hey guys, make sure you get your tour guide to tell you about the WQB requirement!"
mm actually, it might just be the W for me too...
I didn't really pay much attn to that part because the program requirements already cover one each in upper division (afaik).
I've forgotten so much about the WQB and other program requirements that I have to ask people the same questions every couple of months :P
Negative, the GoSFU system just won't let you register for anything else until you first sign up for whatever you are still missing.

That is lucky for you. In Humanities, our only two Ws are electives and, since class size are purposely kept small due to its seminar format, we often have to wait a year or more to get into the course.
You'd usually say "What's the date today?" vs. "When is the date today?"
If you take 'date' out, then "When is your enrollment?" would work over "What is your enrollment".
To me, "What's your enrollment date?" sounds as though the question is asking WHAT an enrollment date is. It is kind of like some new guy who just received his enrollment date in the mail and is clueless about what it means.

It's true, I am declared Criminology Major and a declared Computing Science major.
PLUS the fact that you have a LONG list of courses you want to take for the sake of taking before you graduate.
I'm still very new at SFU so I'm not really sure how this works. What criteria determines your date of enrolment? Your academic results? Or does it really depend on which year you're in?
^It is determined on a combination of scholarship/ varsity status, disability, year/ credits, domestic/ international, and CGPA.
How this works is that...
1.) Scholarships, Varsity, and students with Disability always register first. 2.) Then we have fourth year people with high CGPA. 3.) Then fourth year people with not so high CGPA 4.) Then third year with high CGPA 5.) Then third year with not so high CGPA 6.) Then second year and so on. 7.) Finally, international students.
Contrary to what Student Service academic advisors may tell you, declaring your major will not improve your registration date.

Give them a call tomorrow.
maybe you should fail a course and see what happens?
:P
what happens if u dont take a w + q before u hit 60 credits

If anything, I would attribute the problem to having two threads on the same topic. I have long urged our dear moderators to merge these two threads.
Anyway, yeah, fail on JayDub for:
(a) not originally putting his in the Academic Lounge
(b) making a not-so-obvious title
