what your bf's parents give you money? man lucky much?
Haha, not just parents. His billion Aunts and Uncles too. Well, the first year I got like $30 total. 2nd year I got $50-something. This year I got $100. Maybe I'll get more next year :D
You're suppose to keep receiving money until you get married!!
I know I will become a laughing stock for this, but might as well share it. Yes, I am suppose to keep receiving money until I get married. However, my aunts and uncle always agree ahead of time as to how much we will give each other. That way, we won't over give or under give to prevent embarassment.

I haven't seen my parents all day so far, so no money yet. Next week will be the family dinner with all my aunts and uncles, so I'm looking forward to that.
I think the tradition is you get money if you're unmarried, if you're not working, or if you're a senior. lol. funny enough i read it in Richmond News, a white newspaper, detailing the tradition of the Chinese New Year.

I will probably be getting close to $200 this year, according to the agreements made between my parents and my aunts and uncles.
