Happy Chinese New Year everyone. Love the "Niu" pun there, Vonnie!

I will probably be getting close to $200 this year, according to the agreements made between my parents and my aunts and uncles.

I know I will become a laughing stock for this, but might as well share it. Yes, I am suppose to keep receiving money until I get married. However, my aunts and uncle always agree ahead of time as to how much we will give each other. That way, we won't over give or under give to prevent embarassment.

Well I don't believe in Jesus, but he still sends Santa to bring me Christmas presents every year, so it's all good.

I think the tradition is you get money if you're unmarried, if you're not working, or if you're a senior. lol. funny enough i read it in Richmond News, a white newspaper, detailing the tradition of the Chinese New Year.

GONG HAY GONG HAY, (the more popular saying these days)
