Assuming you only do things in his room, it's not like the other people on his floor are going to be watching his every move and notice who's coming and going. People around are likely in their rooms with their doors shut, and Shell's common areas are pretty separated from the bedrooms.

just go in there @ 5 in the morning, like my old neighbour in shell, who I could hear humping her Mexican boyfriend every weekend and get woken up by her moans LOL.

Oh my... If a girl needs to fuck, she needs to fuck. Who cares?! Does it really matter what these people think of you? As long as the sex is good!

I agree! By the way, do you do that often?

Being a Residence person myself, I have read over the Residence contract many time and sex is not something you are prohibitied from doing. (Believe it or not, you are prohibited from self-multilation while in Residence...) Therefore, you are really entitled to have as much sex as you want.

Second, if you fear the awkwardness, that's probably something you will have to put up with. But don't worry, as you can see, most of us are pretty sex positive and open. The worst you will get will probably be some eye roll behind your back.

Back when I was in Shell, I had this floormate who probably have sex with his girlfriend in his room on a weekly basis (she came out of his room with only a towel to shower at times, explain this!). I would just roll my eyes and went about my business.

Finally, if you are going to have sex in Rez, try not to reenact a porn by faking an explosive orgasm. First of all, everyone knows the sort of orgasm you get in porno are fake. Second, the walls maybe sound-proof, but the door isn't.

By the way, do anyone know if the bowl full of condoms at the SFU Health and Counseling Center in MBC free? The only pack of condoms I have available to me is from a safe sex seminar last spring...

You can get free condoms from your CA or the CA on call.

When I was living in the towers in first year, I remember hearing some faint moaning voice. Only when I focused did I realized that someone above me were having sex big time...

Is the Out on Campus the LGBT place? Now why would they provide free condom as well. On a second thought, I think they may want to provide anal lubs as well...
  • edited January 2009
Well, common sense would dictate that even LGBT people require condoms.

Screw condoms! I use the pull out method it's been working so far lol

But if I was screwing whores around campus I would probably use a condom

Going back to topic, I don't think there really is a manual for having sex in Residence. If you insist on one, I guess I can write up one right now...

1.) Make sure you have your partner's consent
2.) Close all the blinds and lock the door (unless you want to encourage voyageurism)
    3.) Perform all necessary foreplay
4.) Put on your necessary contraceptives (condom, female condom)
    5.) Enjoy

Hence my second thought. Great, now I will have to get that shiver inducing image out of my head...

Voyageurism would mean a love of canoeing in rivers. ;)

Voyeurism, however, is watching sex acts by other people.

Everybody wants Friends With Benefits, nobody wants the hassle associated with the inevitable question of further romantic involvement.

    Har.

Uh... can't afford $5 for a few condoms?

Op: I had sex in rez all the time....and so did many people on my floor. what's the big deal? people get a kick out of hearing other people have sex.... at least until it keeps them up at night.

or was the question really "how do you pick up a girl in rez that wants to have sex?" that's a little tougher. you need an eye for that shit. listen to what other people are saying, figure out who the sluts are. I know of at least 2 in rez. or just get em drunk. that works too..

I don't want to spend $5 on condoms only to see them all expire before I used even one. I can't handle the embarassment.
