I'm taking it this semester in distanced. Lots of readings, but I can't tell you too much. Trying to pronounce and remember the names of gods takes some getting used to.
There's 3 quick-write exercises that needs to be done, as well as 3 writing assignments. You get one midterm and one final exam (multiple choices and essays).
Quick-writes: 10% Writing assignments: 45% Midterm: 15% Final exam: 30%
hist 102 is a great class with mark leier. it is also sometimes taught by willeen keough.
both spoon feed you. if you have a decent grasp of canadian history from social studies and possibly history 12 you will be fine. the class was very easy and mark has a way of making class fun like bringing in his banjo and busting out a song or two. although this was a few years ago that i took this class with mark. willeen is a very nice and approachable proff with a decent grading scheme and always willing to help. so i say go for it, but i would take it in class and not DE
I took His 102 with Seager a couple of year ago. I found it really easy, there is really nothing hard about it as long as you go to class and do the readings. A lot of the things you learn in the class will sound familiar from high school or common knowledge.
