You can get a B.A. in anything. But the same is not true for a B.Sc.
It just means you're lesser than a BSc. Getting a B.A. in a Science is a joke, it's a B.Sc. that requires less credits. Getting a B.A. in a Science is basically telling your future employer that you can't handle the courses and couldn't take a few more to fulfill the requirements in getting a B.Sc. which is effectively telling your employer that you're a failure, lazy and intellectually inferior to the B.Sc. students.
If you're going for a B.A. in a Science, you may as well just throw your money in a fire. At least it'll keep you warm.
Employers for Science students don't take kindly to B.As cause a Bachelor of ARTS in a Science is a joke. And you will never ever get a Bachelor of Science in a Arts
BTW, a C or B student in a Science is the same as an A++++++++ for an Arts student considering the vast difference in difficulty. So you can imagine what an A+ student in Science would make an Arts student. That's right, it would make them nothing.

That's pretty funny.
Is that how science students comfort themselves? Letter grades are the same everywhere. A C or B is a C or B everywhere.
And people would look at what you're good at, not at what you suck at. So people would rather choose an "A++++++++" arts student over a C or B science student (even if you claim that they are equivalent).
I dig myself into a huge hole by not going to classes (family issues) while still under probation. Do I have to make a appointment with the academic advisor to get in the Student Success Program?
Fuck, I thought my appointment was tomorrow, but it was actually yesterday. Now they won't let me make up my missed appointment. What the fuck am I supposed to do now?
