Bus251 and Easc101

edited December 2008 in General
Anyone know how the texts for these two courses work?

In Bus251, we need a FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING W/ACCESS CODE (9780470156759)... If I'm taking the course with MacDonald, do I need this online code?

Also for Easc101 with Kevin Cameron, do I need the text EARTH-W/CD >CANADIAN< (9780136138655) and GEOSCIENCE LAB MANUAL (9780536108821)?
Because last time I bought the required textbook for a course, and the prof just said "you don't need it, study off of my notes".

Thanks!

Yes you need the online code in order to access the course website. You can either get the code by buying a new textbook package, or you can just buy an old textbook and buy the code online. The latter option will probably save you some money...

You'll need both the textbook and the lab manual for EASC 101. In fact, I think it may be the opposite for this course, you should study from the textbook rather than his notes.

I took 101 w/ Cameron as well, but the lab manual was given to us in class/lab (I don't think we had to buy it... it was just a workbook he made), and the textbook I used a US version. He said that was fine because the material's the same... and the US version is like 75% cheaper.

Like Flora said you need the code for doing assignments.
I have an old 251 textbook if you want ;)
