I saw them running in the upper gym. I was considering taking this course before I saw them running. It looks very... elementary school all over again.
Apparently there is actually a substantial amount of reading and studying involved, so its not just fun and games.
i took it this semester with Tony Leyland. Besides the running which are worth 10% and is based on participation, there is one midterm, one paper and a final.
I also took this class this semester and I'm studying for the exam right now actually, haha. It's an interesting class the prof(tony leyland) is a great guy, very passionate about what he's talking about. But sometimes he goes over everyone's head in lectures, and goes off on tangents quite often. The information is pretty dense the 'paper' that everyone else has mentioned...I had to do a fitness plan for next semester, about 5 pages long. There are components of fitness discussed as well as food, etc.
