What's your favourite place on campus?

edited October 2008 in General
So, I've really been enjoying Blusson Hall the past few weeks. Mostly, I've been enjoying the lack of students there.

What's your favourite area of the campus?

Where is this? Is it that new TASC building? Personally, I like the 6th floor of the AQ, but only on the weekends. You get a gorgeous view of the whole of Vancouver (or Burnaby, whichever), it's quite and you get a nice breeze if you open up the windows.

EDIT: Oh, and the bathrooms there are awesome. You get to pee while looking down at the AQ courtyard. Beautiful.

Yes, the place where you know you get to leave.

I LOVE Blusson Hall too! It's my new study place. So quiet, so fresh, so clean! And yes, I'm loving the lack of students there. The courtyard area is absolutely gorgeous and very... yoga-like. It's peaceful and relaxing and unpolluted (literally and without students).

I also enjoy that other pond-y place near the Education Building and RBC. I like nature, okay!?

AQ 6th foor and some parts of WMC are pretty good places, studying-wise.

what is this blusson hall business you are all talking about?
I am not up at burnaby enough to have found any good place yet.

I usually hang out in the biz lounge in the WMX where all the other business keeners hang out. During the summer my favourite place is the AQ garden/pond... it's a nice place to relax and catch some rays.

I've only been to Blusson Hall once, and I like how CLEAN it is. I should probably study there next time.

Usually I go to Student Central now, because outlets are everywhere and the couch chair things are comfy. It's quiet but not too quiet, so you can discuss homework etc...

I like the work area in the 4th level of AQ. It has a nice view of the sky, the garden, and the pond. I'm always there on mon, wed, and fri.

    Precisely =)

But yeah, Blusson Hall is definitely a great place to go. Clean, quiet, bright, great wifi.

It's the new building at Cornerstone that's connected to ASSC1.

Walked to Blusson Hall today and couldn't find a single spot to sit down and study. Where is it exactly? I see those couches things, but no tables.

I think they called it ASSC2 on the map.

There's a large classroom full of circular tables in the lower floor of Blusson Hall, across the courtyard on the lower floor. There is also a quiet study area between ASSC1 and Blusson Hall with couches and a few tables that overlooks the courtyard.
