How do you pay the tuition fee?

edited September 2008 in General
I went to go.sfu.ca, then click on make payment. But then the website said:
"There are no charges on your account that your institution allows you to pay by credit card. Credit card payments are not accepted for regular tuition and fees. The preferred payment method is by internet/telephone banking.È

Then thereès no other link to click

Drop off a cheque at Maggy Benson, or do a direct online bank transfer to SFU, with your student # included.

Online transfer will take you a one minute. If you were going to make the payment by credit card, you'd have to have a way to pay off your credit card...thus bank transfer. Get your parents to do it if they pay your tuition or use your own online banking.

bank transfers take a day or so to register on the system though, while cheques register as soon as the receive it, but the money isn't actually transferred until a few days later.

I'm still doing a bank transfer personally, just because it's easier and it's more certain than cheques.

Depends when you make the payment really. If you make it during business hours it can register right away.

I noticed a few semesters ago it took a few days for my 100 deposit to go through though, then this semester it was posted to my account the same day.
