Anyone up for a hike?

CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF PEOPLE

very easy hike. 3-3.5 hours, 9-11km total distance

will require following items:
water
lunch
decent shoes
a backpack
possibly a sweater (incase weather changes)

optional:
hat
sunglasses
pocket knife (if you want to learn outdoor skills)
compass (if you want to learn navigation, should bring a pocket notebook and a pencil if you want to do this)
sun screen
camera

most likely will be held on a weekend.

    I was going to hike up Grouse this Sunday, but it looks like it's going to rain, thus slippery hiking conditions.

    So I'm definitely up for a hike, especially if mine turns out to be cancelled.

    I'm down for a hike too! I don't think I've ever gone on a "real" hike ever. Just say when and where!

    easy as in, it'll be at a walking pace and theres only a few switchbacks.

    triple you can bring as much beer as you want,

    and iran, is it YOUR car that does the navigation or your DAD'S?

    switchbacks = uphill and downhill.

    so ya there is a bit of uphill

    So I'm leaving on Sept 2nd instead of 4th.

    so i think this sat will be the day, august the 30th.

    location will be buntzen lake.

    time we'll figure out, but just to let you guys know the parking lot does fill up somewhat early and once its full they just close the entrance gate. early would be best.

    the weather forcast as of today for saturday 30th looks to be mainly sunny.

    meeting place will be the gazeebo with picnic tables under it.
