So Magnificent Bastard and I are going to be at Station Square Pub at Station Square (Metrotown Station) tonight, due to boredom. If any of you guys see this and decide to visit/drop in/or join in on the drinking, give me a call or a text. We're there until 1 am-ish.

@ illicit: LAWL. You think a trashy karaoke bar is a date. You have horrible standards.

@ DaNoobie: Good luck. I'm a nasty ching chong.

Nice font enlargement there, illicit, don't think the guys in Quebec trying to see my laptop screen could have missed that one. ;)

    Anton's Pasta?
I don't think Anton's takes reservations, but we can find another pasta place. Any objections to this? I'll find something within burnaby and make a reservation. I'm assuming that people who have expressed interest are coming. Let me know about any changes.

Also, if anybody has a suggestion for a pasta place, please let me know.

    how bout not pasta
    lol

Anducci's is good pasta, and you get more food than you can eat. It's 2-3 eats in one, depending on your apetite.

    Pasta Places
    List on DineHere.ca

    Amorosa Pasta House
    7874 Edmonds St.
    604-525-3343
    32 reviews

    Anton's Pasta Bar
    4260 E Hastings Street
    604-299-1610
    70 reviews

    Anducci's (Burnaby)

    9604 Cameron St
    604-444-4788
    20 reviews

    Anducci's Cucina
    6011 E. Hastings St.
    604 299 8002
    15 reviews

Now Anton's Pasta Bar seems to stand out from the pack because most reviews are positive and say that it is very worth the wait, so that's my vote.

Only other concern is that it seems like a "family" place so we might want to find a second venue if we're looking to go for drinks afterwards.

Any pasta place listed above is fine with me. In fact, thankyou for choosing a plasta place because I have never gone to one before.
  • edited August 2008
I won't be there, but there will most likely be a lonnnnng wait at Anton's.
  • edited August 2008
Mmm... Those are all awesome pasta places! I won't be there either (or will I?) but here's my say:

    - Anton's is my favourite but no reservations and good luck waiting for a table.
    - Amarosa's is a great place to go (so close to my house!) but like Anton's, there are usually long waits but I'm pretty sure they take reservations.
    - Anducci's is pretty reasonable and the pasta's really yummy and saucy. I think that'd be the best for a large group.
