Buttoned down Collared Shirt and Jeans

Should I tuck the shirt in or let it hang lose?

I always have mine untucked but I keep seeing more and more articles like this:

I suppose I could just suck it up, tuck it in and invest in a nice belt. Opinions?

    You're cute. You can definitely pull off both looks. Tuck it in with black dress pants + white belt or let it loose when wearing dark denim.

    Tucking depends on the occasion.. at a club you shouldnt do it.. but a formal dinner, or at work, go for it ;)

    If you leave it untucked, the shirt should not cover more than half of your butt. If it's longer than that, tuck it in (else it look ridiculous).
