Forming a Chess Club

Hi my name is Daniel and I am a second-year student. I am interested in chess and I would like to start an informal chess club at SFU. We could meet at Burnaby or Surrey for one day a week.

EDIT: Please if you are interested leave your full name and e-mail and I will try to gather all the info together. I have no way of making the club if I have no details.

Maybe we could compete with the guys from UBC.

    I only know how to play chinese chess, but I'm willing to learn international chess.

    A friend wanted to make a chess/cards club but he didn't have enough people supporting his idea so it got scrapped.

    I have no expirince in forming a club but I am gonna try.

    About the commitee its an idea. If you want to join the management of the club just say.

    I'll join. I used to play with this guy who memorize pi to 150 digits.
