when do we get final acceptance letters from SFU? im guessing its after provincial marks lol

    Early mid August I believe. You will then know if you got rejected or accepted =]

    Yea usually mid way through summer...isn't August kind of late though? I would call them on Monday and ask about it. The number is 778.782.3111

    ^ yeah, calling them is a good idea if you are like borderline or something. They are usually backlogged, and these student service ppl are lazy as hell ... so you really need to push them.

    Didn't SFU remove the mandatory requirement for provincial marks? It was in the PEAK.

    yeah they removed it starting fall 2009.

    They'll send you a message via SFU Webmail or your regular E-mail on rather your admission is confirmed or not. However, given our joke of an admission requirement, you should be more concerned with getting a jacket so you won't catch a cold up in SFU. :smile:

    Exactly. UBC and UVic removed the mandatory requirement way before us. Seriously, stop hating on our own university. Besides, blame the 6 million dollars funding cut on our pathetic Liberal government.

    I don't think you get a final acceptance letter.

    I remember waiting for one last year and never got it. I guess if you failed to get in, they'll send you one telling you that.

    Well, if you can enroll in classes then it should be fine.

    so when should i expect a confirmation of admission, whether its through sfu webmail or anything?

    Sure.

    But, as long as your average doesn't fall below 67% you should not worry about getting rejected.
