Hey guys, I want to take Bus 478 for next sem but I just find out that Bus 207 is a prerequisite for the course. The probem is that I got a D in bus 207. Is it possible for the prof to waive my Bus 207?
it depends on the reason you failed, and if you can demonstrate to the prof if you are intelligent enough to do well in 478...make sure you send him an email or even go talk to him in person, they will usually allow it if they are nice

Will you be retaking BUS 207? Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you needed get at least a C- in 207 to graduate from business--unless you got that waived?
Anyway, back to the main topic. have you taken anything similar to BUS 207, maybe ECON 301 or something, so that it might show the prof you have some background in those topics? that might give you more chances of getting into the class.
i've never had experience with this but i've always thought profs are pretty lenient on waiving prereqs? like, if the class is full obviously the ones with the prereqs would get priority, but if not, i don't see why he/she wouldn't take you in.

I'm not sure about getting a C- in 207 or above to graduate. Can someone clear that up? Have anyone here sucessfully waived a prereqs course which you got a C- or lower? caz I dont wanna spent other 500 bucks on this course again.

im not sure if its dif since business is more competative and you failed / did bad in the course rather than not taken it all
