    This is to keep up the university's $2-a-person contribution to our UPasses. The staff is totally complaining about it too.

    I never pay for parking, and I don't pay the (very rare) parking tickets they give me.

    I've been looking at the parking lots whenever I pass by on the bus and it's always mostly empty. Seriously, with this increase, carbon tax, and the ongoing increase in gas prices, there probably won't be any cars left on campus.

    I love transit though. The time it takes to get there is always consistent.

    The university should just let us park on the grass field behind the MBC or find some flat ground in the woods surrounding the campus...
