Heh, my Bisc 300 prof just told us that after the first midterm, more than 50% of the class dropped out. Hahaha...

Just found that funny. The midterm wasn't even that hard.

    Scary. I heard stories where there are Engineering guys who, after their finals, immediately re-enroll themselves in that course they just finished.
    I have also heard stories where after the first midterm, 50% of a Calcalus class dropped out!

    20/25, which was exactly 1 standard deviation above the mean.

    i had an english class that went from 25 to 9 people post mid term, most of them werent even ESL that dropped out either

    Yeah, 300 is Evolution. I have Arne Mooers, he's really good. One of the best science lecturers I've had.

    Yup, it's true. I had MATH151 with Randall Pyke back in September. About 75% of the class disappeared after the first mid-term. We went from writing an exam in a lecture hall to one of those normal classrooms.

    I'm taking MATH152 and the average in the class is higher than MATH151. Weird how things work out.
