BUEC 232 or STAT 270

both of those courses could be used as credits for the lower division requirement...i m torn deciding btw those two...any business student can advise??
PS i do poor in math!!!

    Then you would fail STAT 270, it is made for engineers... not buissness students.

    take 232 except i'm pretty sure you'll get george zhang if your taking it at burnaby. good luck haha. the midterm and final are frikkin brutal.

    Yeah right, excel is not hard. Try real stats.

    I'm taking BUEC 232 with George Zhang right now and just had the miderm this past Thursday. I think some of the things asked were a joke, I mean one of the questions required you to just write down an Excel function.

    I took STAT270...I forgot who my prof was, but he made what should have been easy very difficult. He gave quizzes every 2nd week, with about 5 questions which were usually pretty tough, either hit or miss, worth 2%/question. (And no HW, so if you had bad study habits, you were boned)

    I would never take a statistics class unless I was forced
