Zimbabwe's Currency Excange Rate...

edited June 2008 in General
Is now 1.1 BILLION per US dollar.

Jesus.

Mugabe is clinically retarded. He has publicly pledged to continue printing money until they can fund all the projects he wants. In April it was a hundred million. He's managed to drive their currency to less than a one hundredth of its value in just over a month.

The British just need to assassinate him. He had his chance, and blew it. Time for his skull to explode like a watermelon, so his people can perhaps stop starving for no fucking reason.

Zimbabwe has become a decadent and corrupt country. It is just a matter of time before the whole country collapses.

Why? Another one of Mugabe lieutenants will just take his place. What Zimbabwe needs is a major house cleaning.

I am not an Economic major but I am sure having a billion in Zimbabwean dollar don't mean anything because of the rate of inflation in Zimbabwe. Therefore, the buying power of one Zimbabwe dollar is EXTREMELY low. Sorry to burst your bubble Triple.

I think its economically more wise to buy Zimbabwean bills to use as toilet paper. I hope they start printing their money on Charmin.

Good job Mugabe, you pathetic excuse of a politician. Zimbabwe's currency even have expiry dates on them. It's freakin' Germany all over again. Not only that, they're facing a food crisis there, since Mugabe decides to kick out all the white farmers.

Huh, funny. I first comprehend the concept of inflation from learning about Weimar Germany. The Germans printed so much money to pay reparation that the value of the Deutchmark essentially became worthless.

Black people can farm just as well.

Perhaps he should have said "rich white farmers."

When they left, they took their equipment, foreign contacts and knowhow with them.
