How old were you when you lost your virginity?

edited November 2008 in General
Lets get some honest answers, you can answer the poll but still lie to as who voted on what.

And by virginity were going to say there was 'penetration in nether regions'

I didn't do 'it' until I was 19, I was in no hurry.

I was 11 when I lost mine, she was like 27 and a model, I just didn't want to commit though.

yeah older chicks are so needy, good thing you didnt move in with her

I was 17 and, looking back, I probably would have waited a little bit longer but I wouldn't have chosen anyone else (that I know of at this moment) to lose it to.
I turned 18 a week later, but he was 27 at the time which sounds oh so wrong.

I remember I just did not want to be a virgin anymore, I was tired of the questions

So I did it, and afterwards I felt the same, I didn't regret it but I probably would have waited a year or two longer

I think people can normally spot virgins a mile away, just mannerisms etc

    I was 42
    well worth the wait

Why wait until marriage...dont you want to try it out before you buy it?

What if she cant achieve orgasm that will haunt your marriage forever, or for girls, what if he cant get it up or you dont like the way it looks?

edit: Your post suggests that to you, sex is the major part of a relationship. If so, then that might cause you problems.
The way i see it is if a relationship is based mostly on sex, it won't last long.

Marriage isn't about sex, geez, don't you read the bible? ;p

Of course, thats why noone ever complains about not getting any sex when theyre married ;O

    19. Along with the 3 other people in the poll. And I remember being soooo nervous to tell the guy I was dating that I was a virgin. I wanted to downplay it as much as possible because I didn't want it to be a huge deal. Either way, losing your virginity is a big deal whether you try to downplay it or not. It's a milestone.

Anyways, I don't regret doing it at all. I felt mature enough at that time to make that decision. It was the first time of my life that I felt ready to do it. Oh and I have to add... it was freakin' awesome ;o)

I lost mine to Triple back in.....hmm..when was it....1992? I was 10, and he was the sexiest 5 year old I had ever met, at the time.

He may have been robbing the cradle, but luckily legal age for sex in Canada makes that situation A-okay.

    Chlamydia?

    19, here.

And Nicole... a 17 year old and a 27 year old doesn't just sound wrong, it is totally f'ed up. IMO, of course. :p When I have to take a few seconds to figure out if it's statuatory rape, it's too big an age difference. :)

i'm 19 and still a virgin, but i'm in no rush to lose mine. lol i'm not a prude or anything, but for me it's just something that will happen when the time comes.

i was dating a guy a couple of months back for a short time but i realized i wasn't interested in a relationship. so i called him to meet up and i broke it off...and he said to me later that night, "honestly, i thought you called because you wanted to have sex..." lol

I am 19 years old turning 20 in November and I am still a virgin. I neither feel proud or ashame of my status as a virgin because sex should not be rushed.

    Yay! I am not alone.

Not that I am in any hurry to lose mine, but what EXTREMELY worries me is that I have never been in anything that resembles a relationship. As of right now, I am 19 years old and I am LONG OVERDUE to be in a relationship.

Wow, I'm not alone! Very, very similar to your situation but I was 18.

    No regrets. :)

You know what, a younger guy sleeps with an older woman and he's the man. A younger girl sleeps with an older man and its perversion, how does that work?

Not all women are helpless dainty damsels in distress, we can make conscious decisions on our own, maybe we're using the guy and not the other way around....on the other hand--some guy sleeping with a 13 year old is just disgusting.

If someone is 17 or older generally if they are a girl they are a lot more mature than a guy at that age and ready to do things like that.

I've been with older guys, not so old they have all grey hair and need viagra to get it up, but older than me.

Wait until you guys are older and youll be dying for any younger girl to sleep with you.

PS: there are a surprising amount of virgins here, more people than i thought anyway, which makes me wonder about the general population

It's simply the way humans are. I hear stories about hot 30 year old teachers "victimizing" their poor 15 year old male student by having sex with them, and I laugh. He's not a victim. But a 15 year old girl who has sex with a 30 year old man is being taken advantage of, and I don't care whether she agrees with that assessment, or not. There are just different standards for men and women.

At 18, it's borderline. It think it's less creepy than it is pathetic. A ~30 year old who needs to go after 17 year olds is seriously lacking in the play department. No offense intended, of course. :)

You never looked very worried. Maybe you should meet some more people? Then you're bound to find a friend of a friend that you'll be into. =)

Poll isn't that surprising to me! Very good to know people are still virgins!

Remember the teacher (her name lacks me at the moment) who had sex with her 15 year old student. You know that kid was like, "MAN I JUST HAD SEX WITH MS. So and So"

And it is not like she was ugly, she was pretty damn good looking too. In fact, she did not go to jail because of her looks as her lawyer argued putting her in jail would be like, "...throwing raw meat to a pack of stray dogs".

To be fair, I hear he did incur carpal tunnel syndrome from repeatedly high-fiving every single male in his area-code. Poor boy...
