    Pittsburgh almost tied it again with only seconds to go...so close! I'm glad Detroit won though, they have a solid team and are literally at dynasty status...

    I was cheering Detroit because a lot of people were cheering Pittsburgh because they thought just having Crosby would allow them to win the cup.

    I fail? I believe it was Fleury who failed when he sat on the puck putting it in his own net and then giving Detroit that third goal.

    I don't get the hate for Crosby. He's a good player, and seems like a cool kid. I like him. I was rooting for the Pens, just cause I always root for the underdog if there's no Canadian team. The Wings are just too dominant. I don't like the dynasty winners. It makes the game boring.

    He's a great player, one of the best. But he still dives too much, i hate that crap. Ovechkin does it too to be fair, lol. Don't get me started on Ribeiro...

    The thing that bothers me about Crosby is that he DOES get away with it. He's excellent in terms of marketing the game, blah blah blah, but even so, the inequality sometimes is disgusting.

    I was going for the Pens last night just to take it to game seven, but really, I didn't care too much. It wasn't a great final.

    NHL was happy with the finals, ratings were way better than last year, obviously though since both teams were from huge markets compared to last year

    If anything, maybe Detroit winning the Cup will bring some life back to that city. Regular season seats have been half empty for a few years.

    who didnt expect Detroit to win, i mean they are the greatest hockey dynasty EVER...only if the Cnaucks could be like them
    and u guys are all hating on crosby now, but everyones gunna be all over his nuts when the winter olympics come around

    its the olympics, EVERYTHING gets called so the diving won't even matter then.

    Im not saying its a problem, Im just pointing out the fact that so many ppl hate him now, but will soon be jumping onto the crosby bandwagon.

    Crosby won't do much in the olympics, it's obvious that heatley/nash/getzlaf will be taking us to the gold

    Nonono, what I'm saying is that hockey fans come together to support their country during the Olympics, irregardless of who's playing. So if Crosby lights it up, ya, I'll probably go crazy over him. But when he's back with his usual antics on the Pens, I won't be a huge fan.
    Just saying. It's not a matter of being a bandwagoner, it's just coming together for the gold.

    Im just saying that if you dont like Crosby, than dont like him when the olympics come around or its gonna make u look like a fool.
    You can cheer for Canada, but just cuz Crosbys a canadian doesnt mean that your opinion of hims gonna change and your suddenly gunna start loving him.

    That's an interesting way of looking at things....
    I can't stand Thornton during the NHL regular season, but when he's playing for Team Canada my opinion totally changes.
    Same for Iginla, Tootoo, etc etc.
    Maybe I'm the odd one out, but I was under the impression that you're going to support (aka 'love') whoever plays for your country.
