Refund for dropped course

I dropped a course a day after the last day of enrollment and I haven't been refunded yet. My account on goSFU says -$393.30 (I'm assuming they also included the $100 penalty when you drop a course).

So how come it hasn't been refunded yet?! Or are they now counting that money as credit for another course in the future? I'm so confused.

    ^That -$393.30 is most likely your refund minus the $100 penalty. It will likely remain in your account to pay for future courses or any remaining unpaid fees. Were you expecting them to send you a cheque of your refund?

    you can ask for a cheque, it takes a week or something, lol

    ya you can fill out a refund form and they will send you a cheque, or you can just leave it in your account and the $393.30 will carry over and be used to pay next semester's fees

    Ohhhh, okay. Can I find that form online? Or do I have to go the registrar's office?

    "Fill out a refund request form and either fax the form to 778.782.4263, mail it to Student Accounts, Student Services, Simon Fraser University, 8888 University Drive, Burnaby, BC, Canada V5A 1S6, or drop it off at any Registrar and Information Services counter.

    For the first five (5) weeks of the term, no refund requests will be processed."
