edited May 2008 in General

Great news, you wouldn't even get a U-Pass this semester because, as you say, you are "not going to be making any trips to SFU except once for a midterm." By taking only distance ed courses, you are ineligable to receive the U-Pass. Or in another word, you don't have to pay for the U-Pass because they are not even going offer you that thing.

When I went to pay for my tuition, the $75 or so fee was there, but I didn't pay for the UPASS, however its still there as "owed".....?

when i took a distance course and i wasn't in the area, i paid the upass and then they reversed it at a later date (i assume to ensure i don't pick up any more classes)

Dude, there should be a line in your bill that said U-Pass fee and believe me, U-Pass cost a lot more than $75. That $75 should be for something else.

Same thing happened here when I took two distance ed during Summer 2007. Roosh, maybe that $75 is deposit for some distance ed course that you took. They should say what that $75 is on your account activity page.

$75 is probably all the student fees. i believe when you take only 1-2 courses, you pay half the fees, so its something like 35$ for student fees and $35 for rec fees so maybe its those together

ok now it doesn't show up in my "activity" page, its incorporated into the tuition fee. I guess it was for the course, I just know it showed up as separate fee called UPASS when I was looking over the payment screen before.
    oh well....
