Help! Interviewing someone who is 65 year and older

edited May 2008 in General
Hello, I'm taking Gero 300 this summer and I have to interview someone who is 65 years and older. I'm having quite a bit of trouble finding this person to interview. The interviewee must not be a relative of mine and must be living in the community. I don't want to approach some random stranger on the streets cuz that would be kinda creepy. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction where I can get connected to a potential participant.

PS. The interview will take about one hour, will focus on the persons housing and social interactions, their information and answers will be kept confidential, and the participation is voluntary.

    Get a friend's relative then.

Go to an old persons home. They love attention, and they're all old, and have nothing but time.
