Answering life's questions

edited November 2006 in General
Sometimes we sit in class and wonder why we're there. Othertimes we wonder why we have to learn things that seem so pointless. So what if Darwin discovered that some finches had bigger beaks than other finches? Who cares if Freud thought that repressed feelings messed with our minds? And what is the point of reading Shakespeare when hes so damn hard to understand!

Well the answer to these questions is right in front of you - if you truly want to know. University contains the answers to the hardest of lifes questions - questions you may not even have thought of yet. University is the place where everything man has learned throughout history is present. University doesnt give you a degree...it gives you knowledge about life.

So learn as much as you can while you're here. Even though most of what you hear in your classes probably gets stored in the back of your mind, it will be there when you need it. And one day with SFU far behind you, when you are in the real world making real money, you will realize... that you answered all your questions yourself.
