edited April 2008 in General
Do we get transcripts sent home this summer? How does that work? This is my 2nd semester.

And if we do, when?

1.) Log into SFU Student Information System
2.) Go to the dropdown box titled other academic...
    3.) Find official transcript
    4.) Click Go
5.) Choose rather you want immediate processing (they send it to you RIGHT NOW), grade posting (when all your grade from this semester are in), or degree confer date (WTF?)
6.) Click Send to My Address
7.) Select Mailing in Address Type
    8.) Click Submit

Well, the reason they doesn't send it directly to your address because you may plan to send your transcript to some other people for employment or educational purposes. Instead of SFU sending the transcript to you and then you sending it that some other people, it would be more convenient for SFU to send it directly to that third party.

This also allow you to pull a good prank on annoying relatives who keep asking what are you are taking in SFU. There is no better way to answer than to flood their mailbox with your transcripts.

no you do not get your transcript sent to you so mommy and daddy wont know how bad you are doing at university unless you get the dreaded "academic probation" letter sent to you
