I love exams where...
You go in knowing it is almost impossible to fail the course, like you know all you have to do is get like 5% on the final to pass. No pressure at all, I had one like that and I thought, you know just answering these seven questions, I could stop now, hand this in, and still pass, anything after this point is just a bonus.

Too bad the exam was the day before my CMPT150 exam and forced me to get up so early so I was too tired for some good studying :(
Somehow I managed to get 80 on the 150 exam though, so I'm happy
I demand a lot out of myself for practical reasons such as better registration dates and scholarship (If I ever get there).
all my classes are 50% finals _ _#
However, usually most of my finals are 50% so for me a final that is worth like 30% or lower is a joke.
It is very scary for me to go into finals with an overall mark below 50%.
EASC 104 had mt worth 40 and final worth 60 (if you get lower than mt).
I failed the mt but managed to get B- on final grade because the prof scrapped the bad mt mark and replaced it with the final.
I litterally pissed on my pants last semester when i found out that i was one of the 60 that failed the mt in that class with Glynn.
but glad that the final was easier.
i need a hug
Similiar thing happened to me in ARCH 131. I was overwhelmed by other courses and I barely passed the mid term. I studied my ass off for the final and ended up getting a C+ in the course. This thus marks the beginning of my misfortune with the Indiana Jones (my nickname for the ARCH Department). Ouch, did you at least pass? Seriously, I am begining to think that these calculus courses designed to fail students...
Also, aren't you guys worried about your GPAs? It seems to me most of you guys just want to pass.
going into an exam knowing you cant fail the class takes all the anxiety away and can even help you do better in my opinion, if i wanted a perfect 4.0 or 4.37 or whatever id probably be a little more attentative, but realistically it wont happen in the arts, and for those who are able to get it, kudos to them
