Advice Needed

edited April 2008 in General
I'm thinking of taking the Interatvie School of Arts and Technology, coming out with a major in Science, along with a Minor in Crimminology. Good idea? Bad idea? Any thoughts appreciated!

i find in criminology its like at the end of the day i still dont have answers to anything, just a bunch of theories that all contradict each other

bridging theories? i find thats just a concept that describes trying to explain something broadly, its not that i hate it, but its too late to change degrees now and i think i would have done bio and gone into micro or marine

I recall a PhD project by this one researcher who nobly attempted to bridge all of the mainstream theories together. The researcher illustrated the cohesion of theories with a chart; the chart was the most indistiguishable fucking thing I ever saw.

Are you planning to go to grad school, ramdomuser?

I guess that is a bit harsh, it is more like, IAT is for people who go to comp sci thinking it is drawing and animation on computers but then they fail the mathematics so they go to IAT.

Would you be referring to Ethan Meyer? I know in CRIM 101 we talked about a guy who made a graph and a theory where he tried to include all of the popular theories in it.

i was thinking of working in a forensics lab..not sure anymore.

This idea just popped into my head..so I was wondering what was good and bad about it.
What kind of jobs do people come out with after taking IAT anyways..

From what I understood, a lot of Manager position now require a MA. Therefore, these ex-TA will probably continue to haunt us BA and BS guys in the workforce.
