    AHA. Sucker =)

    But really...
He must stay away from the UBC campus and is barred from possessing firearms. He was also asked to surrender his passport.
Is he considered a terrorist now?

We had a bomb threat last year at around this time; no ERT or SWAT team came here. That's SFU for ya.

It doesn't matter if any team comes. The only thing that matters is that they cancel classes.

I remember that day, I woke up and got an email saying, "There was a bomb threat and all of the C.A.s had searched the cupboards in their designated areas. Nothing was found."

One of my floormate claim that he knew the guy from high school. My floormate said he was some really smart (honor, over achieving) types. Guess he snapped...

I think he is pretty much ruined academically after what he did in UBC. There is no way any university (even us, with our low standard) will accept him... The guy threatened to kill someone on campus, leading to a major lockdown and disruption of classes. Who in their right mind would accept someone like this? Some guy who got convicted of plagarism would have a greater chance of being admitted than this dude.

    (Sarcasm)

And yeah, even if he does come here, we can take him.

That was the one during Spring 07's exam period, correct? I didn't even know about the bomb threat until I came back from the exam and check my SFU webmail...

This is very off topic, however I noticed that I am less dared to post what's my mind after the meetup. I guess losing my anonymity by meeting all of you.

wow.. ubc's getting a lot of exposure these days.. first the lost in investments.. now a student terrorist? o.O"

Although threatening to bomb as school is considered terrorist activity, I'm pretty sure all this guy wanted to do was not write his midterm.

    Poor kid.

He can forget about writing anything, rather it is tests or paper, for the rest of his life after this incident because I doubt any institution will admit this guy. (Well, a mental institution maybe!! :shade:)

The lesson: Harden the Fuck Up and write your midterms!

actually.. he was getting pretty good grades and even got the scholarships so i think the midterm escapade doesn't seem plausible.. =\
